Professional Building Services, Inc. management staff, along with Kirsten Martel, PBMOA President, attended the 2013 Go Red for Women Luncheon on Friday May 10, 2013. The event was held at the Hyatt at the Bellevue in center city Philadelphia, and was attended by various business and philanthropic representatives from the Philadelphia area.

The luncheon included a silent auction, blood pressure and cholesterol screenings, drawings and raffle chances, free makeup touchups, presentations by local advocates and representatives of Go Red for Women, and a keynote address by heart disease survivor Star Jones. All proceeds from the event are donated in support of the American Heart Association’s Go Red for Women campaign. The campaign is targeted at raising awareness and funding for research concerning heart disease in women, the number one killer of women in our country. 2013 marks the 10th year of the Go Red for Women campaign, and Professional Building Services, Inc.’s fourth year as a lead sponsor of the program.
